Women’s Health · Fort Lauderdale

Your body is doing a lot. It deserves support at every stage.

Fertility treatment that’s more waiting than certainty. A cycle that runs your calendar instead of the other way around. A pregnancy and recovery that ask more of your body than anyone quite prepares you for. Standard care manages the medical side of each of these, diagnosis, monitoring, medication. There is a different way: direct support for the physical and nervous-system strain each stage brings, coordinated with the specialist already managing your care.

The Real Problem

Every stage asks something different of your body

Three layers of the same problem, what the body is going through, what it does to you, and why it’s wrong to leave it there.

What’s Happening

Waiting, cycles, and a changing body

The waiting of a fertility process. The unpredictability of a cycle. The physical demands of pregnancy and the fourth trimester. Each stage of women’s health asks something different of your body, and each deserves more than a shrug.

How It Feels

The unseen labor of every stage

Carrying a process quietly. Planning around a calendar you don’t control. Recovering while caring for someone else entirely. The exhaustion is real, even when it’s invisible to everyone else.

Why It Matters

Monitoring the strain isn’t the same as easing it.

Someone checking the numbers is essential. Someone easing what the process takes out of you is different work. You deserve both.

The villain isn’t your OB-GYN or fertility specialist. It’s the gap between monitoring and support.

What often gets left out is direct, hands-on support for the physical strain and stress response involved at every stage, from a provider trained to work alongside that care, not around it. That’s the gap this clinic exists to close.

Your specialist’s job is diagnosis, monitoring, and medical treatment, and that’s exactly what it should be.

How It Works

Every therapy adapted to your stage, not one-size-fits-all.

Acupuncture

Uses technique and point selection appropriate to your specific stage, whether that’s a fertility process, a cycle pattern, or a trimester of pregnancy. It calms the nervous system’s stress response and addresses musculoskeletal pain signaling directly.

ATP Resonance BioTherapy®

Microcurrent at millionths of an ampere, FDA-cleared for the symptomatic relief of pain. We use it to support general recovery, energy, and tissue repair through the physical demands of pregnancy, postpartum recovery, or a fertility treatment calendar. Most patients feel nothing during the session itself; any changes tend to build gradually, over weeks.

O3 ReBoot Therapy®

Ozone-based regenerative therapy that supports circulation, which plays a role in physical recovery and general wellbeing at every stage, not used during pregnancy, and adapted appropriately outside of it.

Your Guide

We’ve heard this story. Thousands of times.

Patients arrive here at every stage, navigating a fertility process, managing a difficult cycle, or moving through pregnancy and recovery. Susan Mitchell has spent more than three decades supporting the body through what each of these stages asks of it, not with promises about outcomes, but with a protocol built around where you actually are.

Susan Mitchell, AP is a Florida-licensed Acupuncture Physician and clinical director of South Florida Acupuncture in Fort Lauderdale. She combines acupuncture and ATP Resonance BioTherapy®, with O3 ReBoot Therapy® added, into a single coordinated protocol, tailored to each patient’s case.

Adapted to the stage you’re in

The technique and point selection shift with each stage, from a fertility calendar to postpartum recovery. What stays constant is attention to what the stage is asking of your body.

You’re Not a Case Number

Your protocol, personalized

Your treatment frequency, therapy mix, and program length are set as a plan at your evaluation, built around your case. We hold to that plan for the most part, and adjust it as needed when your response calls for it.

Stage & history

Where you are, a treatment cycle, a trimester, or weeks postpartum, sets your starting approach.

Your response

Your baseline is taken at the evaluation, and the plan moves when your measures do, cycle to cycle or week to week.

Your care team

Your plan is built and adjusted in coordination with your OB-GYN, midwife, or specialist, never around them.

A timeline of a plan's visit cadence. Each mark is a visit. The marks are close together and heaviest through an intensive phase, space out and lighten through a consolidation phase, and are furthest apart and lightest through a reinforcement phase: care tapers as the plan progresses. Your plan is set at your evaluation. Frequency steps down as your measured progress allows, and it can step back up again if needed. This describes how a plan is shaped over time, not a promise about results.

Candidacy comes first: the evaluation determines whether the program fits your stage, then we discuss the investment in person.

What’s at Stake

Unsupported strain doesn’t stay contained to one stage

Stress carried through a fertility process, pain worked around every cycle, or physical strain from pregnancy left unaddressed can each affect sleep, mood, and daily function well beyond the specific symptom itself. Direct support at each stage is worth pursuing for its own sake, not as a promise about any medical outcome.

What Support Looks Like

Imagine what so many of our patients describe…

Illustration of a woman sitting calmly and quietly hopeful

A calendar that isn’t just about waiting

Support for the stress of a fertility process, alongside the medical plan your specialist is already managing.

Illustration of a woman walking freely and comfortably through her day

A cycle that doesn’t run the month

Fewer days planned around pain or mood you couldn’t predict.

Illustration of a pregnant woman standing comfortably, one hand at her lower back

Less back pain, more capacity to recover

Direct support through pregnancy and postpartum recovery, coordinated with your OB-GYN or midwife.

Illustration of a woman and a care provider talking side by side

Care that fits around your appointments

Scheduling built to work with a treatment calendar, or a newborn’s, not against them.

Questions, Answered

Frequently asked questions

The clinic supports fertility and reproductive health, hormonal and cycle-related symptoms, and pregnancy and postpartum recovery, each with its own tailored approach. If you don’t see your situation listed, call us.
No, diagnosis and medical treatment of reproductive health or hormonal conditions remain your reproductive endocrinologist’s, OB-GYN’s, or endocrinologist’s role. We support the physical strain, pain, and stress response involved, alongside that care.
We don’t promise that, and we’re careful not to imply it. Our focus is supporting your body and nervous system through the process, not the medical outcome itself, which is between you and your specialist.
When appropriate for your stage, yes, we use technique and point selection suited to pregnancy and coordinate closely with your OB-GYN or midwife. We take a conservative approach, particularly in the first trimester.
No, we coordinate around your existing treatment calendar and medical care, and never make changes without your specialist’s knowledge.
The consultation is real clinical time: your history, a pattern assessment, and a decision about candidacy. Charging for it keeps it exactly that, rather than a pitch with a clipboard. Sometimes the decision is that you’re not a candidate. The fee covers that answer too.
If that feels right to you, absolutely. Many patients simply book; no referral or permission is needed. Either way, the evaluation gives you something concrete to bring to that conversation: a read on your case and a specific plan, rather than a general idea.
